Complete Anonymity by Design

We Don't Know Who You Are, And We Can't Find Out

We collect only your email and phone number, exclusively for essential functionality: data transfer to you, account functions like password recovery, security verification, and delivery alerts. That's it. This information does not grant us access to your content (unless you explicitly authorize emergency access).

What this means:

  • Your identity is never stored in our systems
  • Your content cannot be linked back to you
  • We cannot connect your evidence to your real-world identity
  • Even if compelled by legal authority, we cannot reveal who you are, because we don't know

This is a zero-knowledge architecture. We provide the infrastructure for protection without ever possessing knowledge of who we're protecting.

Your Data Is Unlinkable

Even the metadata associated with your content, timestamps, location data, device information, is stored separately from any identifying information.

If someone gained access to our servers (an extremely unlikely scenario given our security measures), they would find no connection between data and identity.

Nothing that says "this belongs to Jane Smith" or "this is from John's phone." The data exists as independent, verifiable content with no traceable link to its creator.

Your evidence is unlocked. Your identity is unlinkable.

You Own Your Content Period

Ownership Without Compromise

Every photo, video, audio recording, and session you create with PhenceMe belongs to you, and only you.

We don't have rights to your content. We don't claim ownership. We don't have permission to access, sell, share, or use your content for any purpose beyond secure storage and delivery back to you when you request it.

What we cannot do:

  • View your content without your explicit permission
  • Share your content with third parties
  • Use your content for AI training, marketing, or any ad-to analytics
  • Sell access to your content
  • Compliance to your metadata for 3 years

What you control:

  • Who has access to your content (if anyone)
  • When it's accessed or shared
  • How it's used (personal records, legal proceedings, etc.)
  • Whether it remains private forever or it becomes public evidence

You are not the product. Your evidence is not our asset. You are the sole owner of what you create.

Privacy in Practice

What We Collect (Very Little)

To provide PhenceMe's service, we collect only the absolute minimum necessary:

We DO collect:

  • Device-hardware-data (operating system, app version) for functionality
  • Session metadata for timestamps, location (if you enable it in the settings)
  • Payment transaction data (handled by third-party processors, not stored by us)
  • Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics for platform improvement

We DO NOT collect:

  • Personal identifying information (name, address, etc.)
  • Browsing history or behavior tracking data
  • Contacts, messages, or other device data outside our app
  • Advertising identifiers or marketing profiles
  • Anything that ties your content to your real-world identity

What We Do With Data

The minimal data we collect is used exclusively for:

  • Ensuring platform functionality and uptime
  • Providing customer support when you contact us
  • Meeting legal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Improving security and preventing fraud

We never:

  • Sell your data to third parties
  • Share data with advertisers
  • Use your content for AI training or algorithm development
  • Create profiles or behavior tracking systems
  • Monetize your personal information in any way
Payment Privacy

Financial Data Never Touches Our Servers

When you purchase a PhenceMe subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by certified third-party payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).

What this means:

  • Your credit card information never touches PhenceMe servers
  • We never see or store your financial data
  • Payment identity is anonymized and encrypted by payment processors
  • Billing and subscription records are separate from your PhenceMe account identity

We receive only confirmation that payment was successful, not your financial information.

You Control Your Data

Access, Export, Delete

You have complete control over your data at all times.

Access:

  • View your content anytime from any authorized device
  • Download your data in standard formats
  • Generate verification reports for legal use

Export:

  • Export all your content and metadata
  • Receive complete data in universally readable formats
  • Transfer to alternative storage options if desired

Delete:

  • Request account deletion at any time
  • Cryptographic verification of deletion provided
  • No hidden copies or off-site backup retention
  • Complete erasure, we don't retain data for 3 years after the account is deleted

Your right to be forgotten is absolute.
